That’s OK until it really rains.
From here it was off on the 350 mile drive back to Wichita. When it was all said and done – 2,489 miles in 10 days, not quite 92 hours in the car, for an average speed of about 27 mph. Don’t know how those pioneers in covered wagons did it!
